We have been lucky this season so far with no major delays or waitlist to deal with. We have been cutting great sod over the last month and it continues to get even better. Pick ups are available with 24 hours notice. Deliveries are now running 1.5-2 weeks out depending on your location.

If you have not already applied fertilizer to your exsisting yard, it is now an ideal time to do so. Keep in mind, we never recommend applying fertilizer to new sod or sod that has not fully established. Also, stay away from the big box store fertilizer. Fertilizers like "Turf Builder" and "Bonus S" will damage your centipede sod over time. Instead, go for a mild fertilizer. We recommend 15-0-15 as a good starting point. If you recently placed sod or installed it over the winter, you should be in a watering routine. During the warmer days, your new sod will need water everyday for the first couple of weeks or until it gets rooted in well.

Kellum Sod Farm offers delivery. Just visit our pricing page for more details. For planning purposes, we typically can fill your pick up orders within a day or two. Delivery availability can range from a couple of days to several weeks depending on the time of year.
Just need a little bit of sod? No problem, you can schedule a pick up directly from our shop location. Most pick up orders can be filled within 24 hours (weather permitting). Please be aware that certain times of the year, there may be a wait list.
Kellum Sod Farm can handle some basic installations in house during certain times of the year. If we can't handle your project, we work with several local landscapers that we would be glad to refer you to. Call and ask for details.
